I am always excited to find a new resource that helps me do my job better, like quality presentation materials, a compelling demo, or great online training. And, when it’s useful to me, I enjoy being able to share my find with my colleagues and partners. This month’s topic in the EMS Partner Community is partner resources for enterprise mobility. I have five recommendations to share for partner technical and sales professionals. I hope you will find them useful in building your Enterprise Mobility + Security skills and delivering solutions that delight your customers.
1. Presentation and sales resources
The Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise Partner Resources site has several useful presentations and links. Select Partner Practices at the top, and then Mobility & Security. You’ll see a menu that includes Mobility & Security Overview, Identity and Access Management, Information Protection, and Managed Mobile Productivity. Select the topic you want and sign in as a partner to access the materials.
On each page, you’ll find a series of tabs with resources, demo tips, and more. If you’re short on time, I recommend going directly to the Training and Sales & Marketing tabs and downloading the PowerPoint presentations – helpful decks for your customer conversations.
2. Demo resources
Microsoft partners have access to a demo website where you can provision working tenants for Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security. The site includes demo scripts, sample data, and downloads to click-through demos and slide presentations. Having a working demo is always helpful in customer conversations. I also find that configuring the demo site is a great way for implementers to learn and test in a non-production environment.
I recently authored a series of blog posts that explain how to use the demo site:
- Deliver amazing EMS demos, Part 1: Build your demo environment
- Deliver amazing EMS demos, Part 2: Configure your demo environment
- Deliver amazing EMS demos, Part 3: Enterprise Mobility + Security E5 features
3. Training resources
Microsoft provides a variety of learning plans and training resources for enterprise mobility readiness. I find that each of them has something to offer depending on your needs and because cloud technology changes so rapidly. Here are some of the resources I use.
Community Learning Path
This document, posted to our Yammer group, contains level 100-400 EMS training links. You can sort topics, technical level, modality, and length. We’ll be regularly updating this learning path.

This three-day online technical training for partners helps you understand the new and enhanced security features of EMS and how to sell and deploy key Cloud and Enterprise workloads.
Microsoft partner learning paths
MPN learning paths are collections of recommended courses and training assets for achieving goals like preparing for certification exams and technical assessments, earning competencies like the Enterprise Mobility Management competency, and getting up to speed on Microsoft products and technologies.

In my next post on the US Partner Enablement blog, I’ll provide an in-depth look at learning paths and training resources for enterprise mobility and security.
4. Internal Use Rights benefits
Microsoft partners with a competency or a Microsoft Action Pack subscription are eligible for internal use rights benefits, including Enterprise Mobility + Security, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and more. Take advantage of these benefits – I encourage every partner to utilize EMS to protect your business. It’s a great way to learn about and demonstrate the power of EMS to your customers.
I’m excited to share that internal use rights for Cloud App Security are now available to partners with the Enterprise Mobility Management competency. Learn more about Cloud App Security using the community resources listed below.
5. Incentives and Offers resources
For partners there are some great resources available to help you accelerate the pre-sales through deployment phases of your EMS engagement. The EMS Everywhere program provides up to $3,000 funding for a one-day customer business and technical review session that provides insight into customer identity and security infrastructure, gaps, key scenarios, and EMS business value.
Onboarding and deployment support for EMS is available through Fast Track. This is a great resource to use to help your customers deploy quickly and accurately.
