This SupportScam malware displays messages that ask you to call a tech support number. It monitors the Windows event logs and displays a message every time an application crashes.

Use cloud protection to help guard against the latest malware threats. It’s turned on by default for Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender for Windows 10.
