Alert level: Severe Detected with Windows Defender Antivirus

Also detected as: TROJ_QDDOS.A (Trend Micro) Win-Trojan/Ddosagent.20480 (AhnLab) DDos-KSig (McAfee)

Trojan:Win32/Fibebol.A is a multi-component trojan that performs Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on specific websites if certain conditions are met. It also deletes files and overwrites the Master Boot Record (MBR).
It also drops another malware and connects to certain websites to download other files. It also creates copies of certain files into password-protected .CAB files, and deletes the original files. Hence, if the user wants to gain access to his files, he has to supply the malware-generated password to extract the file from the .CAB file.
