It’s cool to see more and more partners running demos on Windows Server “Longhorn” – even though they’re only using beta 1 code. Last week alone we had NEC and Citrix.<\/p>\n

NEC demo’d the dynamic reconfiguration of CPU and memory resources while running beta 1 of\u00a0Longhorn server. The demo\u00a0used NEC’s Express5800\/1320Xe large-scale\u00a0server supporting up to 32\u00a0Itanium 2 processors.<\/p>\n

At iForum, Citrix ran some live demos <\/a>on Windows Vista and Longhorn server with 32-bit and x64 versions of Citrix Presentation Server 4.<\/p>\n
