Avanade teams up with FEITIAN to deliver powerful security without passwords

FEITIAN’s FIDO security keys feature Bluetooth Low Energy and Near Field Communication options for connection-free and mobile device access, and they enable fully authenticated access without passwords. Avanade’s deployments of FEITIAN solutions integrate smoothly and easily with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), part of Microsoft Entra, and augment already ironclad Microsoft security features with passwordless capabilities. In addition to enhanced security, the passwordless solution reduces IT administration workflows that are associated with managing lost or compromised passwords. “Every time there is a password reset, studies indicate that it’s between $75 and $125. We can reduce that cost and virtually eliminate password resets.” explains Michael Gwynn, Director of Strategic Projects at FEITIAN Technologies.
