The company relied on multiple data stores and had reduced access to its data, which directly impacted the quality of the customer service it was able to deliver.

Partner solution

To address Calpine's challenges, AlphaBOLD implemented a solution built on Microsoft Power Platform and driven by Dataverse, Power Apps, and Azure APIs. AlphaBOLD leveraged Dataverse and Power Apps to provide Calpine with an integrated cloud-based storage option for its data, enabling the company to update its client information within Dynamics 365. The solution was also fully integrated with Calpine’s billing system, customer data platform, and business intelligence (BI) platform. By bringing together all of Calpine’s systems, AlphaBOLD provided the company with visibility and advanced customer insights to streamline its program management.
