Protecting its manufacturing processes, intellectual property, and data is key to its continued success. Chemours undertook a two-year journey to transform its cybersecurity landscape into a cohesive environment. With help from its cybersecurity partner Open Systems, Chemours eliminated 30 different partner security products by adopting the Microsoft 365 E5 security stack. “My Security Operations team can look across the entire landscape of Microsoft 365 and understand the threats,” says Reginald Williams, Chief Information Security Officer at The Chemours Company. “I get one looking glass into the threats in my environment.”

Open Systems has been integral to the security journey at Chemours in terms of engineering and analysis, and it condensed the company’s security stack to help ensure that it spends wisely and gets the most value out of its new tools. “We’ve been able to take their investment with Microsoft to the next level as far as the return that the company is seeing,” says Max Applebaum, Senior Key Account Manager at Open Systems. “It’s really been a win-win for The Chemours Company,” adds Williams.
