Emrill decided to adopt Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, effectively centralizing all its processes—from digital contract signing and supply chain management to financial reporting, thereby eliminating paper-based manual work and increasing staff productivity by 30 percent.

Where legacy data was once spread across multiple systems and disconnected departments, the company now relies on Emrill Hub (a Dynamics-powered mobile solution). All of the company’s financial and procurement processes, customer relationship management (CRM), sales, supply chain management, and payroll came together in one platform. Emrill also made company data accessible to employees anytime, anywhere, on any device, while maintaining the utmost security standards. “Previously, we relied on Power BI and an Azure-powered data warehouse, but our IT department had to report, publish, secure, and deliver reports for other departments,” recalls Hussain Saifuddin, Head of ICT at Emrill. “After the migration, we trained our staff to use the Management Reporter and now they can dissect financial data independently to deliver reports faster. We can also analyze transactional statistics, giving us an edge over our competitors in the industry.”
With digitalized, automated, centralized processes, Emrill saw a 45 percent reduction in paper and email-based approvals, as well as enhanced employee and department collaboration—even when working remotely. “It facilitates communication between employees and departments,” says Emery. “We’re now streamlined on one platform by extending into Power BI, CRM, and other integrations—so the answer to any question now comes from one place.”
The shift also improved back-office functions. “Now that Microsoft takes care of things like backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring, we spend 50 percent less time on system updates,” adds Saifuddin.

Confidence brings trust
The enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution also brought more visibility and data accuracy. “In our industry, making informed, firm decisions is key,” explains Saifuddin. “With our reports and dashboards, we have gained more confidence in our decisions, and confidence brings trust. We have improved compliancy during audits. We can also clearly identify knowledge gaps in our teams, enabling us to save time by implementing and providing the right training.”
