OTELZ has achieved a 40% cost advantage with Microsoft Azure products

Established in 2013, OTELZ has become a notable success story by combining tourism and technology. 41% of OTELZ's customers are foreigners, and the company serves a wide range of customers in numerous languages and currencies. As a result, the technologies used behind the scenes have gained even more importance. By utilizing Microsoft's Azure products, OTELZ has achieved a 40% cost advantage.

Orkun Tekin, Co-Founder of OTELZ, mentioned that this success has also been recognized by Deloitte, stating, "We have maintained our position in the top 10 of the Fast 50 technology companies listing for the past 5 years. This is another indication of how aligned our goals are." Eda Aner, Turkey Operations and Contract Manager at OTELZ, added, "One of the most important features of OTELZ is offering flexible cancellation policies. By providing these flexible cancellation conditions to consumers, we have established our position in the industry as both consumer-friendly and hotelier-friendly."

Gencebay Demir, Software Development Manager at OTELZ, emphasized that there are peak periods in the accommodation sector, and to meet the demand during those periods, they have updated their infrastructure to respond more effectively. Demir explained, "The most critical principle among these is scalability. Cloud technologies offer services and resources that facilitate scalability, allowing us to scale up and down as needed during those periods. By using these technologies, we adapt to ensure high traffic and uninterrupted user interactions. Microsoft Azure Cloud is currently the main infrastructure and backbone product of OTELZ. Additionally, we prefer SQL Server as our database solution. On one hand, we use business intelligence with Power BI, and on the other hand, we utilize Office 365. We also rely on Azure for storage and storage-related products. Another critical product for us is Azure Kubernetes Service, which positions and orchestrates our critical APIs and workloads."
