Pazo is a fast-growing, innovative technology company that offers an all-in-one, cost-effective operations-management platform for clients across a range of industries such as retail, facilities management, and mall management. Its innovative platform, also called Pazo, simplifies and automates workflows by delivering advanced automation, AI features, and complete visibility across processes and data.
The company, headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, has won many awards such as NASSCOM Emerge 50 and Star Startup.
Need to optimize costs and performance
Pazo experiences massive volumes of transactions, hitting a million transactions every five weeks, particularly during peak business hours. The company discovered that its existing solution had to be optimized to handle such high volumes, so it started exploring alternative, cost-effective, managed services solutions that could scale as required. It also aimed to enhance data security and privacy measures, and implement a more robust back-up solution.
More customer delight, better performance with lower costs
Pazo was well-versed with Microsoft solutions. It was also aware of programs like Microsoft for Startups and Microsoft GrowthX accelerator program that help startups radically accelerate up easily.
Pazo is used in workflows by the frontline workforce across industries for inventory management, back-office operations, customer management, internal ticketing, etc. Numerous checklists are associated with these workflows to ensure fool-proof delivery, compliance, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Around 200,000 checklists are submitted on Pazo across clients, weekly, and over 50 images are associated with each checklist. This means the platform has to process 30 million to 100 million high-resolution images. Azure BLOB Storage offers scalable and secure object storage, allowing Pazo to manage the volume seamlessly while ensuring high availability and requisite security and privacy. It also protects business-critical data with appropriate back-up measures.
Delivering better client satisfaction
Pazo enables large retail chains to ensure 100 percent compliance with all their SOPs and tasks. This includes activities such as retail store opening and closing checks, managing customer handover, franchise management, visual merchandising audits, and more. It also has additional capabilities that allow end customers to provide feedback using QR codes, which the clients can use to improve processes.
With real-time information recorded, the platform serves as a single source of truth, resulting in reduced conflicts and eliminating reconciliation activities. By integrating with Power BI, Pazo delivers actionable insights on operational reports, sales reports, etc., that help clients make informed decisions.
Pazo helps clients optimize costs as it can scale up and down computing power and storage based on workloads. With these innovative features, the platform has helped clients increase revenue, maximize performance and deliver better customer experiences.
Improved operational efficiency
Pazo is integrated with Microsoft 365, which has resulted in the seamless transfer of information. It has also eliminated manual processes such as physical checks, upload and download of spreadsheets, etc., and the use of multiple communication channels to share information. With automated task management that offers notifications and escalations, and AI features to raise tickets on non-compliance, employees can focus on business-critical tasks. Pazo also provides improved visibility on frontline employees’ performance, which helps businesses to streamline human resource-management activities.
More robust data privacy and security
By implementing Microsoft Defender for Cloud, a unified cloud-native application protection platform, Pazo has strengthened its security infrastructure and is able to defend against cybersecurity threats. By leveraging Azure Firewall, Azure DDoS, and other Microsoft security products, Pazo now benefits from real-time alerts and security recommendations, and an enhanced data-aware security approach, thereby mitigating privacy and security risks.

Looking forward to accelerating digital transformation
Pazo aims to continue serving at millions of checkpoints, providing seamless experiences to end-users. It is committed to prioritizing 100 percent delivery of tasks, compliance with audits and inspections, and fostering a modern and comfortable work environment.
Sharjeel Ahmed says, “We want to broaden our reach by expanding into new markets. Our focus is on bringing our product to the United States and the Middle East, and supporting organizations as they advance in their digital transformation journey.
