Marlabs is becoming an AI-first company with Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Copilot Studio, building advanced AI products for clients through its AgilityAI catalogue of accelerators.

After launching a successful HR agent that reduced response times by 60%, Marlabs is on its way to becoming a frontier firm with a vision for a single conversational interface that connects multiple agents.

The impact was immediate: employees could apply for leave, explore policies, and resolve questions within seconds. “We have reduced response times by more than 60% and eliminated our previous help desk system in favor of the Copilot agent that handles 80% of queries,” notes Sriraman.

Building on that success, Marlabs uses an onboarding agent that saves three days per new hire, along with additional agents for approvals, contract reviews, proposal buildouts, and surfacing financial and operational data. These internal wins laid the foundation for AgilityAI, Marlabs’ full lifecycle enterprise AI transformation suite that powers workplaces through proven, reusable agentic accelerators.

Accelerating digital product engineering by 20% with GitHub Copilot

Software engineering sits at the core of Marlabs’ business, making GitHub Copilot a strategic investment. “GitHub Copilot has become foundational to our engineering lifecycle. Developers now work 20% faster, and the quality uplift is driving entirely new solution offerings for clients,” says Sriraman.

This experience has evolved into a client-facing service, helping clients adopt GitHub Copilot to achieve similar gains. For industries with strict security requirements, GitHub Copilot’s built-in protections and data loss prevention capabilities have become essential differentiators.

Across day-to-day operations, Microsoft 365 Copilot supports Marlabs’ employees with document summarization, email generation, research assistance, and proposal development. Following a series of workshops co-delivered with Microsoft India, adoption accelerated rapidly, resulting in a 56% productivity gain across the organization. This culture of embracing AI support and innovation also benefits Marlabs’ clients. The company now includes a 20% cost savings in proposals for work that uses AI, encouraging clients to reinvest those gains into strategic AI initiatives.

In the coming months, Marlabs plans to migrate its existing external-facing agent that lives on the Marlabs website to Copilot in order to take advantage of additional innovative possibilities. “This external-facing agent will answer questions about the work that we do, and we are also thinking of having the agent adopt a sales persona and even provide customized solution teasers for prospective clients,” adds Sriraman.

Marlabs is also modernizing its delivery engine with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations, creating a unified, AI‑powered system of record for project timelines, resources, financials, and performance. “With Dynamics 365 Project Operations strengthened by Copilot, we’ll have a more unified, AI-powered system of truth that centralizes delivery data and unlocks far deeper operational insights,” explains Sriraman.

The platform will unify with Marlabs’ growing ecosystem of Copilot Studio agents, powering AI‑driven forecasting, risk detection, and workflow automation across the full project lifecycle.

Looking ahead, Marlabs envisions a universal conversational interface, what Sriraman refers to as “one AI as the UI.” In this model, specialized agents work together to surface data and insights from across the company through a single interface.
