Version 4.3.9 and 4.3.10 fix a few bugs. Version 4.3.8 adds a new Layers -> Toggle Layer Visibility command (Ctrl + comma), improves performance, fixes some bugs, and adds a new FolderChooser control for IndirectUI plugins. Version 4.3.7 greatly improves performance and has some important bug fixes. Version 4.3.3 now runs on .NET 6, with improved performance. There are also 3 new translations and many bug fixes. Version 4.3 is a big update that now runs on .NET 5, with major performance optimizations across the entire app, and native ARM64 support. Startup performance is also improved. Version 4.2 was a big update that focused on adding HEIC file format support, fixing performance with very large images, and upgrading and modernizing the functionality of many existing file types (JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, and TIFF). Many other quality of life issues have also been addressed or fixed. Plugins are supported! Instead of putting them in the installation directory, go to your Documents folder and create a new folder called "paint.net App Files" (without the quotes). Then, create the usual subfolders (Effects, FileTypes, and Shapes) and place the relevant plugins into each of them.
