This MCSD certification requires you to show continued ability to perform in your chosen solution area by completing a recertification exam every two years.

You can substitute Exam 483: Programming in C# for Exam 480. This exam substitution does not apply to certification upgrades.

You can upgrade either the MCPD: Web Developer 4 or MCPD: Microsoft Azure Developer certification to the MCSD: Web Applications certification.
