Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshop

Leverage the Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshop to help you drive customer upgrades from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams. This workshop is designed for you to implement as a standalone initiative or in conjunction with the Microsoft 365 Teamwork Assessment, to help your customers envision their entire teamwork environment. With this workshop, you’ll work with customers to develop migration strategies that take advantage of Teams Meetings and Calling capabilities, along with core collaboration features, to ensure a successful move to Teams. At the end of this workshop, your customers will have an actionable deployment roadmap based on your findings.

Customer outcomes

The Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshop provides a roadmap to prepare your customers to modernize their communications infrastructures, upgrade from Skype for Business, and get started with Microsoft Teams for chat, calling, and meetings. The engagement focuses on assessing your customers’ current infrastructure and bandwidth needs, examining use cases and identifying blockers to upgrade to Microsoft Teams.

Workshop criteria

 

  • Customer must have intent to move from Skype for Business to drive usage of Microsoft Teams Calling and Meetings by June 30, 2019.
  • New Office 365 customers must have minimum of 1,000 seat opportunity for Office 365 license purchase.
  • Current customers must have at least 1,000 Office 365 qualified entitlements focused on driving Teams usage.
  • Customers commit to completing the Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshop within four weeks of approval.
  • Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshops must be completed and proof of execution (POE) provided by June 1, 2019.

  • Partner must have one of the following:

    • Active Communications competency
    • Active Collaboration and Content competency
Nomination

 
Qualified partners

  1. Nominate your customers.
  2. Microsoft confirms customer eligibility and approves engagement.
  3. Submit statement of work (template).
  4. Deliver Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshop according to statement of work scope.
  5. Submit required POE evidence documents to FastTrack Ready Program Support.
  6. Upon receipt and approval of evidence documents, payment is dispersed.
Payment structure

 

  • Up to US$5,000 for completion of the Skype for Business to Teams Upgrade Planning Workshop.
  • Payments will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by date request is approved and until program cap is reached.
  • Funding is limited to one per customer.
  • Terms are subject to change.

  • Close out presentation
  • Customer deployment roadmap
  • Customer survey

Note: All valid POEs must be submitted by June 1, 2019 to qualify for consideration of payment eligibility.
