Assessment goals

Microsoft 365 Partner Accelerators enable you to create customer intent for purchasing and deploying Microsoft 365 services. Designed as three-day customer workshops, these engagements connect business and IT leaders to assess their current needs and envision the modern workplace that will meet their future needs.

Funding process

  1. You may be eligible for funding of up to US$5,000 per approved engagement. Start by nominating your customers.
  2. Microsoft validates customer and partner eligibility.
  3. You provide a statement to Microsoft from your customer confirming engagement, and funding is approved.
  4. You deliver the Teamwork Assessment or Security Workshop.
  5. When you’ve completed the engagement, upload your proof of execution (POE) documentation to Microsoft.
  6. After your POE is approved, Microsoft disburses payment within 30 days.
Security Workshop

 
The Microsoft Security Workshop helps you land the value proposition of Microsoft Security and Microsoft 365 with your customers’ business decision makers. The workshop is intended to be delivered as a three-day engagement that includes:

  • Understanding customers’ security goals and objectives.

  • Identifying security threats using a Microsoft 365 E5 trial.

  • Delivering the Microsoft Security end-to-end story.

  • Showcasing core IT and user security scenarios through hands-on activities.

  • Developing joint plans and recommending next steps.

Teamwork Assessment

 
The Teamwork Assessment enables you to engage with business and IT leaders to identify customer use cases, create strategic alignment, and define actionable roadmaps that deliver transformational business value. The Business Decision Maker Workshop drives customer intent through “art of the possible” demonstrations and identifying customer-prioritized use cases. Planning workshops deliver deep dive guidance across three Teamwork priority areas—Adoption and Change Management, Calling and Meetings, and Teams Custom Solutions.

The target customers for the Teamwork Assessment are organizations with Exchange Online deployed at greater than 25 percent.

Windows 10 Assessment

 
The Windows 10 Assessment helps you create customer intent for Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus deployments. It also provides opportunities to start conversations about managed services solutions to help customers make the most of their investment in Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus. There are two types of assessment scenarios for you to deliver the Windows 10 Assessment, depending on the needs of your customers.

Type 1 Assessment: Deployment Compatibility Analysis

  • Provide a summary of current versions of Windows and Office clients in the customer’s organization.

  • Review compatibility of the customer’s application and device portfolio to deploy Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus.

  • Summarize issues and blockers based on the compatibility analysis.

Type 2 Assessment: Desktop Deployment Wheel Analysis

  • Educate your customer about the detailed multistep Desktop Deployment Wheel process to enable deployment of the modern desktop.

  • Conduct a detailed discovery of the customer’s IT readiness for modern desktop deployment, using the Microsoft-provided Discovery Questionnaire.

  • Summarize issues and blockers based on the discovery analysis.
