Software end-of-life
  • Beginning in October 2020, only Office 365 ProPlus and Office desktop clients in mainstream support will be able to connect to Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, or Skype for Business Online. All other Office perpetual client versions will not be able to connect to the online services.
  • Windows 7 extended support ends in January 2020. Without support, customers will no longer receive security updates that can help protect their PCs from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software that can compromise personal information.
