New Secure Remote Work Workshop

The Secure Remote Work Workshop – a new offering in the Microsoft 365 Partner Accelerators program – is a one-day partner-led engagement designed to help customers rapidly deploy remote work scenarios to empower employees to stay connected, while enabling IT to maintain security and control. During the workshop, customers will learn about enabling cloud identity, and receive guidance about rapid deployment of Teams, the Teams adoption kit, and secure access to Teams. Now available: The Secure Remote Work Workshop for business is a free online tool available within the Commercial Consulting Tool (CCT). This assessment, which is optimized for customers with fewer than 1,000 seats, includes three tailored deliverables: subscription recommendation, basic deployment preflight check, and advanced deployment checklist for partners.

Microsoft provides a range of ways for customers to get started with Teams and remote work. Use the following guidance to support your customers with the right offers or adoption guidance.

For customers who don’t have Teams today

CSP trial offers
Multiple one-month trial offers are available for you to offer to your customers, including Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Office 365 E3.

Partner-initiated Microsoft Teams trial
Customers with Exchange Online can get started by adding Teams to their current licensing for up to six months.

Microsoft no longer offers the Microsoft CSP Office 365 E1 or Microsoft 365 Business Basic promotions. Download the FAQ to learn more.

Users who have Azure Active Directory and aren’t licensed for Microsoft Teams can initiate this exploratory experience for Teams.

For customers who have Teams

While many customers are licensed for Teams today, not all of those customers are using the full functionality. You can help your customers ramp up quickly and facilitate user adoption, by taking advantage of the following resources:

Increase in Microsoft Teams Online Services Usage OSU-M365 incentive
Effective April 1, and through September 30, we have increased the incentives payout at the 15 percent milestone for all qualified entitlements for non-FastTrack partners, and added a new incentive payout at the lowest qualified entitlement level for FastTrack partners. Learn more.

Deliver valuable guidance from anywhere

To prioritize the health and safety of you and your customers and help reduce in-person interaction during the COVID-19 outbreak, partner workshops can now be conducted virtually. To help ease the change in delivery method, the timeline to conduct workshops with completion dates after March 31, 2020, has been extended from 90 to 110 days.

FastTrack assistance is available to help organizations set up remote work and learning in response to COVID-19. In addition to eligible plans, FastTrack is assisting with onboarding to Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft products, with the free six-month Office 365 E1 and G1 trials and Office 365 A1. FastTrack assistance for these trials is available through August 2020. Customers must have 150 or more licenses to engage. Refer to the Service Description for further details. Microsoft, customers, and partners can request assistance through the FastTrack website.
