Electronic Medical Database – SOAP Edition (EMD - SOAP) is an application that was created to help medical practitioners organize and store patients’ personal data, medical history, clinical findings, laboratory results and imaging results. It aids the health care professional keep records without the hassle of too much paper works thus avoiding the need for much physical space for safe keeping. It also enhances efficiency as it allows its user to access his/her patient’s records anytime and anywhere. Information stored via the application are safely kept in the local drive which could only be accessed by its primary user. The EMD-SOAP was designed to be as user friendly as possible to ensure ease of execution. Features are further simplified compared to the developer’s previous app, Electronic Medical Database (EMD).
