Do you have recipes trapped in Living Cookbook recipe software? This program will read a Living Cookbook 2015, 2013 or 2011 backup file (.lcb) and export your recipes to Living Cookbook .fdx export files which can be imported into other recipe software. Alternatively, you can export your recipes to MasterCook files (.mz2), formatted Microsoft Word documents (.docx) with customizable styles, or plain text files (.txt). This program is designed to help those who have Living Cookbook backup files, but can no longer run the program because Radium Technologies, the publisher of Living Cookbook, has gone out of business. There are users whose Living Cookbook no longer runs. Many of these are license key issues. These users needed to reinstall the software because of a hard drive failure, or moving the software to a new computer. However, Radium Technologies stopped responding to support tickets to reset license keys to enable those reinstallations. The result: these users are locked out of their recipes. They’re trapped in Living Cookbook’s database.
