To remove an IPv6 route

1.

Open Command Prompt

2.

At the command prompt, type:

ipv6 rt

to obtain the route prefix and the interface index of the interface over which the addresses for the route prefix are reachable.

3.

At the command prompt, type:

ipv6 rtu Prefix InterfaceIndex life 0

where Prefix is the route prefix and InterfaceIndex is the interface number for the interface over which the prefix is reachable. Setting the lifetime of the route to 0 removes the route from the routing table.

To open command prompt, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt
