Coding Angels Hands-On Workshop
Addresses by Honorable Guest
Taipei City Employment Services Office, Director】
The director of Taipei Affiliated Departments shared with the employment situation in Taiwan. Many jobs have disappeared this year because of the pandemic, yet, at the same time there are industries emerging in this predicament. The environment is changing too fast, therefore, the director encourages college students to participate in internships in various industries and find the path they want to take in the future before entering real workforce. In the internship, you will understand your own interests more, understand what you want or not, understand whether your personality meet the needs of the industry, and understand more about the industry trends. In addition, we appreciate the Director's recognition of Microsoft Student Program which has nurtured young people and stimulated their potential to find future career goals. They are a common goal of Microsoft Student Program and Employment Services. Both of us expect college students to recognize the industries in the early stage of studying and recognize the hard and soft skills they need,
so that students will be able to unleash their
potentials in different industries in the future.
