AJPT is an independent type foundry specializing in the production of OpenType.otf fonts in the categories of both original designs and revivals of previously undigitized letterforms primarily from the mid-1800s to the 1920s.

A revivalist since 1986, Prescott is in the process of converting many designs from PostScript Type 1 Mac fonts with 256 glyphs into OT-compatible resources with varying numbers of features and character sets. This is anticipated to be a very long-term effort with releases made ready for sale on a periodic basis going forward.

To the extent possible, fonts will include support for all Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts, but for some historical designs, the character sets will necessarily be more modest.

Fonts will be for sale at The Type Heritage Project starting sometime in the second half of 2014. Partial character sets of many fonts soon to be released are currently available for viewing on Flickr.

We will produce TrueType, PS Type 1, OpenType.otf, .ttf and any other format requested, as well as custom encodings, logos, and Bezier curves for development elsewhere. Nothing is ever autotraced. We will modify our fonts to suit individual customers and make repairs immediately if in their use problems are discovered and made known to us.
