Our goal is to enable people and organizations in underserved communities to realize their potential through the power of technology. Since Microsoft opened its first operation in Ireland in 1985, the company has focused on participating in the local community. As we have grown to employ over 1,200 full time staff across three different divisions, this commitment has remained a constant focus for the company and our staff. We run a range of community initiatives under our “Unlimited Potential” programme in Ireland which are designed to help individuals and communities to achieve their goals and dreams through relevant, accessible, and affordable technologies. We also recognize that our staff are already doing fantastic work in the community which is often outside our core corporate programmes and as a result we have built a series of programmes and activities that help to support our staff. Here are a number of examples of Microsoft and it's staff in action within the community... |
