The End of License (EOL) date for several Server products was December 31, 2014.

The following Server products reached EOL on December 31, 2014:

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
  • Microsoft HPC Server 2008 R2


  • System ​builders may sell through any inventory of these Windows products after December 31, 2014.
