Following a tragic event, Peter, an anxious twelve-year-old, relocates with his family to a stately, old house. Dishevelled and cracking at the seams, the house is a far cry from the grand dwelling it once was. But Peter and his younger sister, Verity, soon find out there's plenty of magic to be discovered. One night, after coming into possession of a mysterious artefact, the floor of their bedroom breaks away, and the children plummet deep underground into a strange, new world known as, The Below. Now, Peter must find his courage, and venture across this mysterious land to vanquish the ancient evil enveloping this world.
