    There are many options in Microsoft Lync 2010 communications software during a meeting or instant messaging (IM) conversation to share and collaborate. This includes, sharing your desktop or a program, attaching a file to a meeting, conducting a poll that consists of one question and up to seven possible choices, creating and collaborating on a virtual whiteboard, and giving Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
