    The Microsoft Driver for Node.JS for SQL Server is a Node.JS module that allows for the reading and writing of SQL Server data from within Node.JS applications.
  • Supported Operating Systems

    Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2

    • Node.JS Runtime 0.6 or 0.8
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client available in the SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack.
    • Any edition of SQL Server 2005 or later.
  • Perform the following steps to download and install the Microsoft Driver for Node.JS for SQL Server:
    1. Download the installer for your Node.js version and architecture to a temporary directory
    2. Run the installer from the temporary directory
    3. When prompted, enter the path to an installation directory for the module's files e.g. c:\application\node_modules\msnodesql\
    4. Copy the newly-created module directory into your application's node_modules directory
