2010 Worldwide Award Winner - Simone Timms

Simone Timms was selected as second runner-up in the Innovation for Community category at the Worldwide Innovative Education Forum in Cape Town, South Africa for her project “It takes a community to raise a child”. A teacher at Durack School in the Northern Territory, Simone provides a learning environment where technology permeates almost all aspects of teaching and learning to captivate and inspire students. Her project helps busy working families engage with their child’s education through technology.
