An institution may license based on either:

  1. Qualified users (FTEs* only or FTEs and students)
    • Qualified users include full-time faculty and staff employed at least 200 hours per year and all students.
      • Institution can enroll as many of their users (students or staff) as they want. To qualify for institution-wide pricing the requirement is all students enroled.
      • Products specifically licensed for faculty and staff will be counted in addition to the user (student) count if this option is chosen.
  2. All qualified desktop PCs
    • Qualified desktop PCs include any device that meets the minimum specification required to run any of the Enterprise Products used by the institution or used for educational purposes by the institution running one of the enterprise products.

Licences may not be counted based on a combination of the two on the same enrolment (some products based on users and others on desktop PCs).
