AI for Environmental Sustainability Accelerator

Empowering purpose-driven organisations to create positive environmental impact and achieve more.

Recent research showed that only 41 percent of UK organisations are on track to reach the government's 2050 environmental sustainability targets.* This is why now is the time to turn ambition into action and help organisations across the globe to accelerate their sustainability journey.

Our AI for Environmental Sustainability Accelerator programme helps purpose-driven ventures in the UK advance their AI solutions to create positive environmental change. We're looking for organisations that support UK organisations in achieving their sustainability goals by reducing carbon emissions and waste, preserving water and protecting ecosystems.

For the fourth year running, Microsoft - in partnership with Social Tech Trust and The Met Office - will select a cohort of organisations with a commitment to building a sustainable future to join this 4-month programme.

"The passion from entrepreneurs for solving some of the world's most critical and challenging societal issues is palpable. The combination of their ideas, what they'll learn from others and their development journey through this programme, is where I see the impact and the opportunity."
