PDF Translation

With Microsoft Edge, you can easily translate any text from a PDF document to a different language. Select the text you want to translate within the PDF, then click the translate icon in the PDF toolbar. A side pane will pop up, automatically detecting the language of the text you selected as you pick your preferred language for translation from over 70 available languages, without ever leaving your current tab.

You’re able to choose from over 70 languages for translation.
If you notice your translation needs an adjustment, you can select the small pencil icon located underneath the translation to submit edits. Your submission will be used by Microsoft translator to improve translation quality.
There are two ways to find the translation option when looking at a PDF in Edge. First select the text you want to translate. Then on the PDF toolbar located at the top of the PDF, select the translate icon. Alternatively, once the text is highlighted, simply right-click the highlighted text and select translate selection.
