The tests were conducted by Microsoft in June 2018 using a pre-production device with Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor, 128 GB and 8 GB of RAM. The tests included the complete discharge of the battery during video playback. Only the default settings were used, with the following exceptions: The WLAN was connected to a network and the automatic setting of the brightness was deactivated. Depending on the setting, usage and other factors, there are significant differences in battery life.
