    Microsoft Research India conducts research across a wide spectrum of topics spanning foundations of computer science, systems, security, machine learning and artificial intelligence, human computer interaction, and the role of technology in solving societal problems.

    Our researchers are curious and bold, with a track record of pushing the frontiers of knowledge in theory as well as real-world systems. We collaborate freely with academia and play an active role in mentoring and training young researchers.

    Microsoft India (R&D) Private Limited

    Microsoft India Development Center is one of Microsoft’s largest R&D centers outside the Redmond headquarters. Set up in Hyderabad in 1998, we represent Microsoft’s strategy of globally shared development to build products and services.

    Some of India’s most talented people work at our locations in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune, within any of Microsoft’s four technology groups – Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Research Group, The Cloud and Enterprise Group, The Windows and Devices Group and Office Products Group. At Service Offerings (SO), we are responsible for developing mission-critical business applications and systems for the company’s internal customers, while balancing security and trust.

    Microsoft Customer Service and Support

    Customer Service and Support (CSS) India, Bangalore, was established in October 2003. The center provides technical resolution services to Microsoft's English-speaking Enterprise customers and partners across geographies.

    It is a final point of resolution for enterprises that leverage Microsoft technologies in their global networks. The center works towards helping enterprises optimize their IT investments and keep their businesses productive around the clock.
