    This package contains a Visio template and stencil you can use to build software architecture diagrams like those available at http://aka.ms/azblueprints. Terms for distribution of diagrams created with the template included in the zip package. Email CnESymbols@microsoft.com to provide feedback and suggestions. PLEASE watch training video at http://aka.ms/3dBlueprintTemplateVideo. It's going to save you a HUGE amount of time using this template.

    Visio 2013 or later

  • To install this download:
    1. Download the ZIP file by clicking the Download button and saving the file to your hard disk.
    2. Remove any previous versions of 3d Blueprint template you can avoid duplicate and deprecated shapes and symbols.
    3. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a separate directory. If you intend to use the Visio stencils, we suggest the My Shapes directory.
    4. View the training video at http://aka.ms/3dBlueprintTemplateVideo if you have not already.
    5. Check http://aka.ms/azblueprints to see if you'd like to reuse any of the downloadable templates there. They are scheduled to be available in the later half of 2015.
    6. Open the .vsdx file with Microsoft Visio.
