AI Content Writing: How AI is Changing Content Creation

Content creators around the world are improving the quantity and quality of their work with help from AI content writing. While AI makes the entire process easier, it’s not limited to just writing. When it comes to AI, the sky’s the limit! In addition to writing, AI can also help with:

Ideation. Coming up with fresh ideas is one of the biggest problems content creators have. A great blogger can take a topic and create an engaging story out of it, but coming up with an original idea for every blog is hard. AI blog writing can help creators come up with new ideas that are popular among their chosen audience. They can then take those ideas and spin them to fit the scope of their blog. This exercise can be used with blogs, books, and YouTube videos to help creators brainstorm good ideas for content. After all, YouTuber Mr. Beast (one of the fastest-growing creators on YouTube) says the difference between 50 views and 50 million views is nothing more than coming up with a better idea.

Speeding up the research process. Researching can be tedious and time-consuming. With help from AI content writing, you don’t have to spend hours meandering the internet looking for statistics to back up your arguments or dates to tell your story. Instead, AI content creation software can draft a blog post or video script filled with useful information. While this can save creators a ton of time, all the information must be verified with other sources.

Social media posts. Not all content creation has to be long-form blog posts or 30-minute video scripts. Social media is one of the main pillars in marketing for everyone, from professional content creators (YouTubers and influencers) to mom-and-pop shops to multi-national corporations. AI content writing is great for writing short and snappy social media posts because it can take a few minutes to write each post on your own, quickly adding up to an hour or two of your time. Simply ask an AI writing tool to compose 10 social media posts about something, then use those captions with photos or videos that fit.

Improving the quality of written content. If you don’t have problems coming up with ideas or creating your own content and you don’t want AI writing articles for your blog, you can still use AI as a tool to help in your creative process. Use AI grammar and syntax tools to improve the overall quality of your writing. You can also use AI writing tools to enhance your vocabulary by taking suggestions for synonyms. Not every writer has the budget for an editor, so it’s normal to self-edit your work. Use AI software as the second set of “eyes” to look over your work before it’s published.

Voice transcription for subtitles. One of the problems audio and video content creators have is accessibility for the deaf or hard of hearing. Subtitles are an excellent way not only to make content more accessible but it’s also easier to consume. People who scroll through YouTube, TikTok, and other social media platforms aren’t always in places where they can (or want to) have their sound on, so subtitles are preferred to make it easier to watch the video. Even then, subtitles are becoming increasingly popular among content consumers because they don’t have to listen as closely to what’s in the video. AI voice transcription services make it easier for content creators to create subtitles for their videos without taking the time to manually transcribe them. Podcasters can use this to create blog posts, YouTubers can upload a subtitle file with their video, and social media creators can use software to embed subtitles into their videos on the fly.

Generating support images for content. Every blog post should have at least one image, YouTube videos need thumbnails, and the best podcasts have cover art. Even the least artistic among content creators can use AI tools to create beautiful art to include with their content. There are AI image tools across the internet that make it easy to produce cover art and video thumbnails in a few minutes, rather than taking the time to make a design from scratch or learn how to use graphic design software. AI art software can help improve the visual side of written and video content.

AI writing and other content creation tools can be used to help create quality content in large quantities. Although, it’s not always as good as what a human can create. Creators have found that AI content creation tools are great to use as a part of the creation process rather than replacing the process entirely.
