Carolyn is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research. She received her PhD in Economics from Princeton University in 2025. She is a labor economist who studies how non-wage amenities affect workers’ productivity and job choice. Much of her work focuses on education and teacher labor markets, and especially how challenging working conditions in schools may be affecting the labor supply of K-12 teachers.
In August 2026, she will begin as an Assistant Professor in Economics at The Ohio State University.
