I am a researcher at Microsoft Research, focused on advancing large language models. I am a core contributor to the open-source Phi language models, working on data curation, pre and post training, and evaluation.

I also serve as a technical advisor to the CTO, acting as the OpenAI research liaison. In this role, I maintain a global view across Microsoft’s organizations, connecting research to product and ensuring alignment from early innovation through deployment at scale.

I hold a PhD in Computer Engineering where I focused on efficient deep learning training and inference, adversarial robustness, and privacy-preserving deep learning.
