Windows Server 2003 的 KMS 1.1 版不但提供了与 1.0 版相同的功能集，而且还具有下列附加功能：
• 一台 KMS 主机即可同时支持 Windows Vista RTM/SP1 和 Windows Server 2008 的批量许可版本
• 可以在 Windows Server 2003 虚拟机中运行 KMS 1.1 版。
