My name is Felix Pultar and I am a Senior Research Scientist at Microsoft Research AI for Science. I work in the Amsterdam office, where we explore how Artificial Intelligence can be leveraged to accelerate synthetic organic chemistry and improve molecular design.

Before joining Microsoft, I was a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich with Sereina Riniker, where I developed neural network potentials to simulate molecular systems with quantum-mechanical accuracy at largely reduced computational cost. Prior to that, I obtained my PhD in synthetic organic chemistry with Erick M. Carreira at ETH Zurich and explored the chemistry and biology of natural products derived from the human microbiome.
