Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada
Clubs Garcons & Filles du Canada
6-12 YEAR OLD GROUP
WINNER: DOVERCOURT
The kids from Dovercourt worked together to create their winning video by researching their topic, practicing and using their acting skills to send an important message to kids and parents about Internet safety. Congratulations to the kids from Dovercourt for their excellent video!
13-18 YEAR OLD GROUP
WINNER: BOTWOOD
The Botwood Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada team really wanted to create a moving and effective message about cyber-bullying—and they certainly did. They met together as a team to brainstorm ideas and write a script for their video. Part of that process was even interviewing young people who were targets of bullying. In particular one of the team members had a brother who experienced bullying first hand. The result of their hard work and dedication is a moving and memorable message about the damage cyber-bullying could cause. Congratulations to the Botwood team for their great video!
