Can I use my charger while I wait for a replacement?
If you own any one of the chargers identified in our original product advisory, we strongly advise that you to stop using it. We apologize to the owners of the Lumia 2520, and we are working with urgency to minimize the inconvenience.

What should I do when I get the replacement charger plug?
Once you have received the replacement, instructions for fitting the new part can be found here:

You are not changing the charger itself, will it be OK when the replacement part is fitted?
As we stated in the product advisory, under certain conditions, the plastic cover of the charger’s exchangeable plug could come loose and separate. If loose and separated, certain internal components pose a hazard of an electric shock if touched while the plug remains in a live socket.

The replacement plug will allow you to use your AC-300 charger safely.

We strongly advise that people stop using the affected charger and seek for a replacement plug from your nearest Nokia Care Point. Also bring with you the possibly affected charger plug to Microsoft Mobile, so that it can be properly recycled.

Has the use of the charger harmed my device?
We are not aware of any instances of this happening.

Is there a defect to the Lumia 2520 itself? Windows RT?
This advisory is only for the European and UK variant of the AC-300 charger plug and the charger travel accessory, which were manufactured by a third-party supplier.

I have other Nokia chargers. Can I use them as a replacement for the AC-300 charger?
