  1. Launch the Games for Windows - LIVE Client and sign in, then click Marketplace.
  2. Click Add-ons then the Volcano Map Pack icon.

Description

Volcano Map Pack, playable in Island Capture, Competitive, and Duel modes, features a stunning backdrop of Hawaiian-style volcanic islands at dawn break. Island Capture mode offers players an all-new island formation to master with many huge land-based artillery batteries to capture and control. Competitive mode focuses on intense air combat as players either attack or defend a squadron of B-29 bombers intent on crushing the Japanese island occupation, and Duel mode offers players a unique battlefield unseen in Battlestations: Pacific – a partially submerged volcano.

Game Modes

  • Island Capture:
    • Huge, controllable land-based batteries and a new layout and role for islands – special islands include batteries along with heavy anti-air guns offering an extra line of defense for their owners.
    • Layout emphasizes action-oriented game play while demanding the usual strategic approach.
    • Stronger emphasis on submarine play.
  • Competitive:
    • Dense air battles in which you have to defend B-29 high-level bombers as they tackle several Japanese bases, or help them to destroy designated targets.
  • Duel:
    • Bloody battles fought in a partially submerged shield volcano offering a completely unique battlefield.
