Nora is the reason you'll buy this.

Nora's mid-air dash is shorter than the other characters, so she may be unable to cross the secret jumping puzzle. Other than that minor issue, she remains the queen of the castle.

Great If You're a RWBY Fan... with Friends.

The Good- The combat is satisfying and fluid with a fun team attack function. The Grimm are fun to fight. The artstyle is nailed and playing as team RWBY (and/or JNPR if you buy the DLC) is also a blast. 4 player online CooP. The Bad- Upgrade system could of been more fleshed out. Some character "Supers" were not different enough from each other, and could of been a little more thought out. The gunplay is kinda wonky and didn't really combo into the melee system well. Enviroments, although pretty, didn't really offer more than a move from Point A to Point B setup. The Ugly- You can die very easily in this game, so playing Solo will be a struggle. No splitscreen means online CooP is your only option, which is very unfortunate for an already niche game. Every encounter in the game is a "Defend this location for x amount of waves" setup, which gets very boring, very fast. The writing is barely passable, which is very strange considering Rooster Teeth's reputation for clever writing.

Entertaining

I really like this game, but all you do is fight grimm and protect an objective. It would be alot more fun if there was a campaign starting from the first volume of RWBY and there should be PvP or Team PvP matches. Finally later on add the rest of the teams from RWBY.

Its a good game for fans

Ill go ahead and says that yes it is repetitive but I am also a huge fan. I love this game for that reason. I got the game back when it was greenlit on steam and Ive bought it again. If youre a fan its a pretty good game. Each character has their own little play style and if you play with friends it gets even better. I also like to speedrun this game. Anoter thing, you will get bored after playing the game for a couple of hours. Spred your time or play with friends.

Needs to be fixed. EDIT: A Workaround

A fun, enjoyable expierience for RWBY fans, that is, until it doesn't save your progress. Don't buy it unless you really have to, in which case I ccompletely understand. EDIT : A way to make sure it saves is to always use the IN GAME exit on pause. Rating adjusted🙂

Great Game! But...

There's always a but... The game has some of bugs and frequent frame rate drops but the game is super fun to play with friends (and that out ways all the problems of the game)... Some things I think the game needs is more content to keep players playing: maybe outfits that you can unlock, more game modes, more story (only 1 boss in the game...), I would like more character banter between characters (to fill in the gap when running area to area), and maybe some other things. This game has loads of potential and I want to see it grow into a great game. Keep pushing out content updates RT and don't be afraid to take risks!

Value...

The price is still high for what you're getting, but this bundle is a better value rather than buying the game and DLC separately.

Love to see familiar faces

Couldn't wait to get my hands on the game being a fan and not having it on PC, so when I did I also made sure to get the team JNPR characters. Pyrrha and Jaune are both good all around characters, Jaune lacks much range but has good Aoe, and Pyrrha has her rifle. Ren is similar to Blake in my opinion, he is very agile and is a fast light-attacker, with dual dagger uzi's. As for Nora, she is very powerful, with her hammer and her grenade launcher, while at the same time not being to slow. I would consider Jaune 8/10, Pyrrha 9/10, Ren 8.5/10 and Nora 8.5/10 (all in my opinion). So it's a definite must have for fans, and it opens up new styles for players. -Played on the Xbox One-

Pffft! Do I Even Need To Say Much More?

It's perfect, great, and seriously if you have the game and money but not this, Just buy it. As Jaune Once Said: "Nora. Just, Hit'em With The Hammer."

Needs content desperately

its fun but has no rewarding progression system and lacks a reason to come back to it. feels shallow with just campaign and horde mode plus all you do is hit stuff and guard generators. could be great if there were more modes and rewards like alternate skins or taunts. im a huge rwby fan but this game just doesn't feel finished by overlooking basic things.
