No longer being supported

I bought the game at launch and loved it. Even with all the bugs and weird animations. I had my new mass effect game and that's all that mattered. But I can not, in good faith, recommened this game to others now that bioware has pulled all ongoing support for their single player mode. If Hello Games can continue to put out updates for No Man's Sky months after releasing despite mountains of bad press and reviews, I fail to see why bioware and EA can't at least give us the hinted at Quarian Ark DLC. This is such a beloved series, it breaks my heart to see the people making it treat the game as a quickly disregarded cash grab. Andromeda is okay, but it could have really been great.

WOW, EA, REALLY!?!

You have ended single player support and patches and there will be no story add-ons, and now you are releasing paid MP character packs??? What is wrong with you?!?

EA needs to learn about Flow theory.

The gameplay was enjoyable, but I found it difficult to maintain any interest in the main story. For a while I was playing and enjoying the multiplayer, even though the grind for characters and gear was a bit tedious. I completed my common and uncommon collections, and had 445 rare and ultra rare cards remaining complete my list. This week's update added another 2096 cards to total 2541 more cards to my list. This was entirely demoralizing. First off, I don't think I would have completed the grind for the remaining 445 cards, as the multiplayer game is way too repetitive, which has been getting old quickly. However, adding such a large number of cards without improving game play or making it somehow more enjoyable has completely destroyed any desire for me to continue playing. I deleted the game and am not sure I will play it again. I am very disappointed with how game developers have latched onto the micro transaction scheme. It has ruined the gaming industry.

No more updates!!!!

Sure glad I bought the deluxe edition seeing as there will be no future DLC. Wish I could get a refund.

Flawed, But Fixable

I have played all 3 ME games, numerous times, every class and option. I just finished the 10 hour demo on insanity. I watched some live streams, and didn't get as far as others got in 2 hours. I spent much more time exploring and talking to NPCs than questing. I found the characters to be interesting, even if they are not great. I didn't have any real frame rate issues. The combat was solid when there was cover, and brutal when there wasn't. I was playing a pretty much stock biotic w/ pistol/smg loadout. The facial animations are terrible, and in a story driven game that is a big problem. But I am the type that can ignore graphics issues if the game is engaging, and it was. I haven't been blown away like my first few hours in ME1, but I also haven't been as disappointed as in ME3. And it didn't take 10 hours for ME3 to make me regret all that work in ME1&2. Multiplayer is EXACTLY the same as ME3 and DA:I. Not great, but a social space. There is room for growth in this arc. Not bad.

Pretty Decent Release

First thing to know about this game is to drop ALL yuour expectations at the door, and go into this with no real expectations. The problem is the fact that EA and BioWare hyped this game beyond what it really is; A cool sci-fi game loosely based in the Mass Effect universe. If you go into it with just moderate expectations, you will have a great time. The graphics are certainly better, but the eyes could've been worked on more. Aside from a couple performance issues, the game was an enjoyable time!

Stop Being Dumb

There is no season pass for this game Bioware has already confirmed all DLC is free if you're going to review something before it is even released at least check your facts before complaining and giving a lower score

its definitely mass effect

After playing the full 10 hour trial Im left feeling wanting more. At first I was unsure what to think with being used to the originals, but after getting acclimitized I feel that Andromeda is really great and a full and rich experience. I think the series is continuing along the logical path of evolution as it should. The inventory and quest tracking systems are a bit clunky, but manageable after a short time. The new Nomad reminds me of the Mako but improved 1000% making exploring planets tons of fun. The weapon and gear crafting is also alot to take in at first but i quickly became used to it. Whether a mass effect veteran of a decade like me or a newcomer I definitely recommend.

reasons why i don't read too into reviews...

so i gotta start off by pointing out i thought the game was great, one of my few favorites in a while. why? well the combat was fantastic, story was solid, doing loyalty missions was enjoyable to go through and the environment in general......probably best looking. im not gonna use the whole "the facial expressions look so bad in this one....". umm the mass effect games have never been on point with the character models but oh well.....its not gonna stop me from enjoying the gamer. overall its a great game, recommend it to anyone
