Live Free or Die follows six Americans who have chosen to walk away from our modern society and 'rewild.' Living in the natural world, facing floods and blizzards, bears and mosquitos, deserts and mountains, these hardy, modern-day pioneers have left their backyards for the backwoods, all while living by a strict code to remain self-sufficient, despite the dangers.
