The Powell Family is about to go from ordinary to extraordinary in a single bound. When Jim (Michael Chiklis) and Stephanie Powell (Julie Benz) take their kids on a family trip to the Amazon, they get way more than they bargained for. They come home to discover some extraordinary new abilities. Jim is suddenly super strong. Stephanie can move at the speed of light. 16-year old Daphne can hear everyone’s thoughts, and pre-teen JJ goes from clueless to super-genius. The Powells are reinvigorated by their new powers, but they quickly discover that they still have to face day-to-day family life – as well as some pretty big new challenges.
