Thoroughly strategic yet delightfully artistic

This game delivers an enjoyable 2D/side-scrolling, strategic rogue-like that teaches you the basics and then steadily ramps up the difficulty and delivers many suprises, both good and bad. I loved every minute of building each new kingdom and began to min/max my progression from the time I landed until my eventual escape or destruction.

Great game but broken.

I loved Kingdom: New Lands and loved what I played on Two Crowns so far. Unfortunately Kingdom Two Crowns forces me to play in offline mode and when I close the game and open it back up all of my saved progression has been deleted. I would suggest holding off on Kingdom Two Crowns untill the saving issue is fixed.

Review title of NateLearn from your mistakes and keep going.

This game is simple on it's surface, but has more depth than you'd think. The AI can be frustrating at times and I can understand the reviews targeting it. But the AI is predictable. And if they're being stupid it's 98% of the time your fault. If you give an order to cut down a tree or build something outside your gate at night then your builders will march straight into the enemy horde in waves until the work is completed. Which it won't be. So learn from your mistakes, watch what happens and give orders more carefully. Always be aware of the time of day. If the AI did everything, there wouldn't be anything for you to do. That being said there are times where your men will stand outside the gate for no reason. And it's frustrating, but not game breaking. The running for recruits is tedious at times. The game would be better if the bakery were just included as a buildable part of the castle rather than a special random pickup. Overall great game, with lots of hours in.

This thing is an A+ game if they fix the save issues. I've lost three late game saves now. I'm done. Bugs fixed. Great Game. Still bummed it took so long.
