Not sure why Okami HD isn't being promoted in the Xbox One X enhanced games section like every other game that gets patched, but Okami HD is a stunning Zelda-like argument for games as art, and an example of how incredible Capcom can be when they're on point. This game flourishes on the X, with true 4K, vibrant colors, and a rock steady framerate that all work to compliment the stunning Japanese Watercolor art style. There's some weird item specific pop in in spots, but it's a small quibble given the package delivered, and the only issue I've encountered. If you want a single player experience with serious style, heart, and beef to it, look no further.

Whimsical, beautiful and quirky, Okami is a real treat. Reminds me of the Legend of Zelda a lot, but the artistic style and edo period Japan setting really take center stage making Okami my favorite game in some time. Centering on the beauty of nature, Okami has you fighting dark forces from an ancient time to rid the land evil. The story is more than 20 hours long but there are a lot of other hidden items, collectables, weapons, and upgrades to keep you busy much longer. Love this game!

I couldn't be happier to see this game remastered and ported to xbox one! I remember playing this a decade ago on my ps2. This game is a nostalgia trip like no other for me. I didn't play the older legend of zelda games until my adult years but I imagine okami gave me the same feeling of awe that many people experienced with the zelda games. The graphic style is breath taking even over 10 years later. The music is really well done and it fits into the world perfectly. Everything about this game makes me smile like a 15 year old again. The game opens up in a major way after the initial tutorial. I even remember being surprised about how long the game actually is all those years ago. I only just started a new game again and can't wait to experience this amazing world again. I would easily recommend this game. It's easily worth every penny of your $20.

Review title of Mikevitale909Loved every moment
I love this beautifully crafted master piece of a game. I loved it when I used to play it on the Wii. Now it's even better due to improved graphics. My only issue was with a couple achievements. I completed all wanted lists yet no achievement? I got my ink, health and astral pouch to max yet no achievement? Please fix. Regardless of the achievements I didn't have any problems with gameplay. In my opinion this game had it all: amazing story, great and unique art style, beautiful music, memorable characters, secrets and puzzles, great fighting, funny yet sad at times and a wondrfully fulfilling ending that I got teary eyed over. I strongly recommend!

Review title of Sgt NolistenWelcome back, old friend...
Let me start off by saying my teen years was this game. I lived it, breathed it, and loved every moment. So while when I saw it on the store and nearly burst into tears from joy, i can definitely say i dont know what makes this worthy of being called HD. The graphics are the same beautiful artwork they were years ago, the camera still feels clunky till you get used to it, and absolutely nothing in the game has changed. Frames always drops when an achievement unlocks, so I hope they fix that soon (even if ive nearly 100% it already😆). In short, if you loved this game on PS2, this is no different than that and you should get it if you want to play again. Wii players? no idea, so no opinion. If you never played before and are curious about the game, this is a great time sink to add to your collection. Just remember to save constantly. I had a single crash after leaving the game playing all night because I fell asleep (3 in the morning does that to you) and lost 20 hours of work...
