Replit’s decision to build deep integration with Azure was both strategic and personal. “My first programming experience was on Visual Basic,” Masad recalled. “Microsoft was the company that made software creation accessible. Replit's AI integrations leverage Microsoft Foundry for zero-config AI inference at deploy-time. Azure Container Apps enables Replit to deploy AI-ready robust applications, agents, and automations.
