Charlotte Mark
Managing Director at Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen
Charlotte joined Microsoft in 2004, following a career in IT & management consulting. She has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Joining Microsoft, Charlotte had a leading role in the post-merger of Navision and the establishment of Microsoft’s R&D activities in Denmark, and in 2009, Charlotte assumed the role as Managing Director at Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen.
In her role, Charlotte is focused on enabling engineering excellence and innovation, attracting new investments to the site, and ensuring good conditions for R&D in Denmark, incl. the availability of local and international STEM talent.
She is engaged in several board activities as the Chair of the Board at DIS Study Abroad and DI’s Board for Science & Education, as well as a member of the Board for the Danish Quantum Community. Charlotte holds a cand. phil. In Human-centered Informatics from Aalborg University.
